Each one is hand-painted and handcrafted from sustainable Alstonia wood, certified by the Department of Forest Conservation in Sri Lanka. The paint is non-toxic, child and pet friendly, with a durable matte finish that's incredibly scratch resistant.

Wedgies are made as part of an empowerment initiative in Sri Lanka, where unpainted doorstops are delivered to workers' homes along with paints and tools. Once completed, workers are paid on collection — providing flexible income for rural communities.
